Detecting Dancers in Telugu Song-Dance Sequences

We are a trio of mavericks from the University of San Diego utilizing Computer Vision in earth shatteringly new ways. Over the next few months we're set out to demystify the song dance sequence of Indian cinema, particularly Telugu cinema(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinema_of_Andhra_Pradesh). We intend to do stuff like detect background dancers and lead pairs, amount of sky versus amount of ground, changes in the colors of the costumes over time and space, detect shot boundaries within which to detect all this...etc. CHEERS!
